visiting us is simple -- here are some things to help...

What our visitors are saying about us

John, a paralyzed Vietnam War vet, and his wife Chris visited in the spring of 2011 and were able to share the same boardwalk experience afforded to all visitors.

"Chris and I are staying in Summerville at the Hampton Inn. We have had two spectacular days in your forest, spending almost 8 hours walking and rolling the boardwalk seeing as much flora and fauna as the forest showed: including the White Ibis, Pileated Woodpeckers, Barred Owl, Warblers, Red Hawk, Crows, two species of turtles, three species of snakes, squirrels, chameleons, and so many different kinds of trees and plants all so well identified. Great staff you have at the Center by the way."
