Education at Francis Beidler Forest

Welcome to the Education Department for the Audubon Center at the Francis Beidler Forest.

Our standards-based curriculum addresses the science requirements for any grade level.  We can focus the boardwalk tour or create additional activities to address your specific curriculum requirements.  We have also created a pre-trip video to help you prepare your students for their visit to the swamp.

You may view the pre-trip video listed below or take a virtual tour of the boardwalk here.  Our education department calendar will allow you to see what dates are currently available for your visit. Ignore the colors and note the times when checking the dates to see if space is available on a given day. We can comfortably accommodate 100 students or 4 groups at any one time.
